For the second year in a row, Hamad International Airport has been crowned the World’s Best Airport. On June 16, 2022, the announcement was made at the 2022 World Airport Awards, which were held at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Paris, France.

Singapore Changi Airport (World’s Best Airport Staff Service and World’s Best Airport Dining) and Istanbul Airport (World’s Best Airport Shopping and Most Family-Friendly Airport) are among the other notable winners.
The World’s Cleanest Airport, the World’s Best Domestic Airport, the Best Airport in Asia, and the Best Airport PRM & Accessible Facilities were all given to Tokyo Haneda Airport. Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport was named the World’s Most Improved Airport.
