The construction works of Katara Hospitality Tower is said to finish and open fully functional in 2022. This is developed as part of Qatar’s Vision 2030.

The shape of Katara Hospitality is like a crescent moon. But it actually represents the traditional scimitar swords. This is also a traditional symbol of the State of Qatar.
The iconic architectural concept incorporates the historic scimitar swords from the national seal into a spectacular pair of symmetrically arched towers rising 36 storeys from the podium level to a height of 211 meters, symbolically interwoven with Qatar’s legacy.
